This newly purchased home belongs to a busy family of five, and we were brought in to soften its stark modern interior—introducing warmth, color, and a more inviting atmosphere. With a household that’s always hosting friends and teenagers, every selection was made to be both beautiful and durable, standing up effortlessly to everyday life and constant entertaining.
Introducing a new fireplace created an instant focal point and transformed the flow, opening the family room to the kitchen for seamless entertaining. We chose finishes that could handle teenagers, friends, and the harsh afternoon sun. Multiple seating options in kid-friendly fabrics, paired with a durable wool rug, keep the space practical yet stylish—still light and bright, but layered with playful personality.
The goal was to soften the stark Euro-modern kitchen. We layered warm textiles, rich tones, and updated lighting to create a more inviting, lived-in feel.
The compact yet powerful guest bath packs a punch. Tucked under the stairs, we carved out space for a generous shower while keeping the room light, bright, and playful, balanced with moody, dramatic hues. Custom details abound, with clever hidden storage, all wrapped in a polished, sophisticated design for the main first-floor guest bath.
